ARE DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE THEY WILL BE PERFORMING

TITANIC – THE MUSICAL
10 – 14 APRIL 2012

We are sure that most people are aware that following our success with Titanic in 2006, we are presenting this show again in 2012 to coincide with the precise 100th anniversary of the sinking of the great liner.  This will be a historic event – the final Saturday performance will take place exactly 100 years to the day (night) that the Titanic sank.
We had a cast of 91 in 2006 and it would be amazing to have well over 100 on stage for this exciting musical next year.  It is definitely a ‘singers’ type of show with some rousing and very emotive music.  The stage set, which we build under the guidance and inspiration of Ben Smith has been in storage for 6 years and is, as you would expect, impressive!
Don’t worry if you’ve not been ‘on stage’ before – this musical has lots of fairly static ‘set pieces’ – as well as a chance to appear in wonderful Edwardian costume and sing some glorious music.
We are having a ‘launch’ night on Saturday 1st October at the Wellington Rooms – so come along and find out more about the show, meet up with your friends and have a great night out.
The first music rehearsal will be Thursday 17th November at 7.30pm (We need to start early, as we almost always lose 3 or 4 rehearsals due to bad winter weather!).
AUDITIONS WILL TAKE PLACE ON FRIDAY 14TH OCTOBER FROM 7.00 TO 9.30PM
AND SATURDAY 15TH OCTOBER from 10.00 am until 4.00pm
Not as previously advised.
